Jane Chapple-Hyam's Mudawin has done nothing wrong of late and has to be respected but may struggle under the burden of 10st and preference is for Captain General, with Mister Right rated the best of the remainder. The selection was good value for his win first time out this term at York two months ago, remains on what appears a fair mark and clearly goes well when fresh. Smart Gal disappointed here last time but may do better back on a faster surface, while Dubai Ace has been knocking on the door but may just need some help from the handicapper. Mister Right was not disgraced in the Ascot Stakes last time and may do better back in distance today, provided that effort has not taken its toll. Captain General has plenty going for him though and is preferred.
