Verdict
This looks a really good opportunity for FREMONT who can resume winning ways at the main expense of Side Glance and Folly Bridge. Richard Hannon's colt was good enough to finish eighth in the Coventry Stakes at Ascot back in June, and he was also an eyecatcher at Doncaster last time when he finished fourth behind Swilly Ferry over 7f in a hot handicap. The drop back in trip will not be a problem today and he looks to have been found a good opportunity to open his account. Side Glance won a maiden on his debut at Newmarket and he clearly has ability. He did run a bit green that day so he should come on for the run and although he is bred to do better over further in time, he rates as a live contender. Folly Bridge has gone well on both of her runs and she opened her account earlier in the month at Lingfield when she beat Quaestor. That was only a modest event but she is clearly going the right way and she can't be ruled out. It will be a surprise if either Antonius Moris or Kumbeshwar are good enough and we will stick with Fremont as the one to lead them home.
