      Verdict

This maiden won't take a lot of winning which puts William Haggas' relatively well bred debutant Cloud's End bang in the picture but with a decent enough run under the belt already we side with Mark Johnston's SIR FRANK WAPPAT with Skylight looking the only other to make any appeal. From a yard whose youngsters have often needed their first run this season the pick should improve vastly for his opening chance. That performance saw him run green when challenging and given he has plenty of speed in his pedigree he should run a big race. Cloud's End is related to some classy juveniles and should go well over this trip as a youngster so if running as his bloodline suggests he has more than a chance. Skylight hails from a yard in form but will have to step up on two solid efforts to score here so in a poor looking maiden Sir Frank Wappat should be the benchmark.
