This looks a good opportunity for SOLO RIVER who is put forward to get the better of Seasonal Cross and Mighty Mover. The selection looks worth another chance as she wasn't beaten far in third behind Golden Prospect at Brighton earlier in the month. She was denied a clear run at a crucial time in that race, but she did prove that she is capable over this trip and granted a bit more luck today she should go close. Seasonal Cross was a narrow scorer at Bath last time when she beat Rose Cheval. That was her first career success but she has been running consistently well and she certainly deserved that success. Mighty Mover was returning from a break at Chepstow when he finished third behind Kargan. He was also tackling this trip for only the second time in his career but it seemed to suit him well and he is definite shortlist material today. Fire King has been in the money on his last two starts on the turf and it would not be a surprise to see him in the places again here. However, there is plenty to recommend Solo River and she gets the nomination.
