There is not much to go on here and maybe Silken Act will prove to be the one, with her biggest dangers suggested as Majaales and Naini Tal. The selection represents probably the best form on offer, a fair Windsor maiden third last time. Although the form has been let down since, she should come on for the run and she looks to hold fairly solid claims today. Majaales ran green but showed promise on his Sandown debut, while Naini Tal put in a never-nearer debut effort at Nottingham and is another that should improve from that run. Of the others, Henry Cecil's Biggin Hill could go well; and Mohtarres cost $850,000 but has shown little so far, similar comments applying to the 130,000 guineas purchase Sonny Mac. Finally, Soubriquet has shown some promise, Diamond Shower was behind the selection at Windsor, and Somersault represents Sir Michael Stoute but a very inexperienced rider has been booked. All of which returns us to the selection, which is Silken Act.
