We do not have too much to go on here but the short list contains Ron In Earnest, Spring Is Here and Altar, with the vote going to Spring Is Here. The last two on the short list are trained by Richard Hannon who, once again, could hold the key to the race and its betting. We will opt for the 52,000 euros purchase Spring Is Here, who held a five-day entry for the juvenile conditions race on this card, ahead of the 40,000 guineas buy, Altar. Having shown promise in a course and distance maiden on his debut, Ron In Earnest has to be given serious thought, while Love Brothers is one of those that throws out positives for today in terms of breeding. Numerical did not show enough on his debut to be given a big shout today, although he ought to improve on that run, while Mick Channon's Princeton and Marcus Tregoning's Raffaas are others that should be given some thought. All in all, it is a race to watch with interest, with the vote going to Spring Is Here.
