Our short list for this interesting juvenile race is Karayel, with his biggest dangers possibly proving to be Rainbow Mirage and Prospect Place. Karayel put up a good effort to give weight and a beating to Minaash at Kempton last time and, clearly in good heart, he looks set to go well again today as his form stacks up in the context of this race. He could prove to be the better of the Richard Hannon runners, although the market will tell us more. With the form of his Chepstow win working out well, Rainbow Mirage has to be seriously considered too, while Prospect Place won his Beverley maiden well but was then beaten in a better event at the same track last time. However, that race is working out too and, with him being a rare Michael Dods runner at this track, is not ruled out of a good run. Another that could go well is Spoof Master, who is likely to ensure some pace in the race, but he might also set it up for something else. Finally, Cosmopolitan Lady improved to finish second to Crystal Gazer at Goodwood last time but, with that winner being trained by Richard Hannon, we feel that the master of East Everleigh holds the key here, principally with the selection, Karayel.
