Verdict
General Ting can cope with the quicker ground and climb another rung up the ladder. Hadron Collider and Double Spectre may give him most to do. The selection hails from the all conquering Sir Mark Prescott yard and the trainer will, no doubt, be more than happy with the 3lb rise awarded for his charge's win at Nottingham. It would be surprising if there weren't more to come from him and he's hard to oppose. Sea Admiral has done well since being fitted with blinkers but has a bit to prove in this company whilst Hadron Collider appears to need things to drop just right but may have more to offer. Double Spectre has run well on both starts here and enters calculations but may possibly find this mark beyond him. Mount Lavinia is unexposed and may have more to offer but that's not the name of the selection who is General Ting.
