Royal Executioner is taken to land the opener at the expense of Tapis Wizard and Tale of Silver. The selection improved dramatically from his debut at Salisbury to finish and eye catching second to Doctor Crane at Doncaster last time out. The step up to seven furlongs suited him that day and with further improvement still to come he is the one horse in the race to stay on the right side of. Tapis Wizard shaped well at York on his latest run when finishing a close third of ten in soft conditions. He will be more suited by a sound surface and the step up in trip ought to suit also therefore he is worth noting in the betting market. As is Tale of Silver who showed improvement when third of thirteen at Haydock recently and coming from a yard that like a touch he is another to note on the market. But for the winner we return to Royal Executioner.
