Verdict

PETTOCHSIDE won this in 2017, beating fellow course and distance winner Waseem Faris in the process. John Bridger’s 10-year-old has been showing signs of a revival lately and Cieren Fallon takes off a handy 7lb. Zac Brown finished last in last year’s renewal but has placed in two of his last three starts while Foxy Forever scrambled home at Bath off a 3lb lower mark, though the runner-up was a beaten favourite at Redcar on Saturday. Harry Hurricane has dropped a couple of pounds since his fifth at Windsor and would have every chance on his best form.
