Storm Home has placed just once in five attempts over the larger obstacles and that was last time in a three-runner race at Fontwell. New Millennium has won twice over fences but Philip Hobbs’ front-runner likes to hear his hooves rattle. Percy Street showed little on his fencing bow while Middlebrow has been well beaten since scoring of this mark at Kelso in the autumn. KING CNUT won nicely at Stratford and seems to have rediscovered his best form. Though this is tougher off 6lb higher, the five-year-old could go in again.
