Verdict
Owney Madden got loose before the start of his debut at Goodwood and than ran green in the race itself but the effort still contained some promise and the experience will not be lost on Martyn Meade’s colt. WIGHTMAN’s first run here was a lot more straightforward and Ryan Moore takes over the reins on his reappearance as he drops down a couple of grades. Jockey bookings suggest Positive is the Clive Cox stable choice ahead of Stoweman but the €250,000 Dark Angel colt Today Power is a more interesting newcomer and Mon Choix cost 90,000gns and is a half-brother to two winners.
