This is a rather trappy maiden which could turn into a bit of a tactical affair, but Prince Holing is just fancied to take the spoils, with Alaared and Bijoux the likeliest dangers. John Gosden's string is hitting top gear now, and this gelding has shown consistent form and shown more than enough to win a race, but is finding it hard to get his head in front. It is possible he finds less than he should under pressure, but we'll give him one more chance here. Bijoux has shown a similar level of form to Prince Holing and should not be too far away, but has also had several chances. Alaared has a few pounds to find but has only twice raced and John Dunlop's colt is open to improvement. His debut run behind the top-class Kalaman was promising, and the fact that Richard Hills appears to prefer him to the Indian Ridge filly Mualafah speaks in his favour. This is probably not a race to get too heavily involved in, but Prince Holing could be the safest option.
