GOLDEN PROSPECT is taken to follow up from his recent Brighton success at the expense of Vanadium and Wrighty Almighty. The selection has never been the easiest to win with and as a consequence of a long losing run he had dropped to what looked like a favourable mark when scoring at Brighton last time out. The handicapper has only penalised him with a three pound rise for his troubles and he still looks fairly treated and more than capable of winning again. Vanadium caught the eye on his seasonal reappearance at Wolverhampton when finishing second to Avontuur but found life tough when finishing mid division at Goodwood last time out. This does look like an easier opportunity so any market moves should be noted. Wrighty Almighty has not won for over eighteen months and has become a frustrating horse to follow. He has however been running well in defeat of late and if he can recapture that form he is sure to be in the shake up come the business end of the race. These amateur rider races are never the easiest to fathom out but Golden Prospect has more ticks in his boxes compared to the majority of his rivals and is given preference.
