Some well bred fillies representing powerful yards in an interesting maiden but the vote goes to Rainbow City in preference to Innovation, Bijoux and stablemate Flash Of Gold. Sir Michael Stoute could hardly be in better form at present and the Freemason Lodge handler will be hopeful of adding to the tally with Rainbow City who ran a race full of promise on his sole juvenile start. The daughter of Rainbow Quest stayed on well under considerate handling when second behind a useful rival in a Newbury maiden in September and this full sister to the smart middle distance winner Multicoloured should prove hard to beat before making her mark in better company. Innovation ran encouragingly on her one two-year-old start at Newmarket and is another who should improve enough to win her share but Bijoux is a little more exposed and is held by the selection on Newbury form. Flash Of Gold showed plenty of ability on her only previous start last year and should progress again this term but appears the stable's second string on this occasion.
