Verdict
This listed race has three previous course and distance winners and should provide an exhilarating spectacle, with Angel's Pursuit likely to challenge and Knot In Wood having won some interesting contests in the past posing a danger to our selection which is SIROCCO BREEZE. This horse has won twice at Meydan, Godolphin are turning out the winners as usual and officially the highest rated horse in the contest we see Ted Durcan in the blue silks coming home in first place. Angel's Pursuit looks to be the pick of the Richard Hannon runners but he put in a poor run at Haydock last time out and given that effort may struggle against the competition here. The Fahey yard put forward Knot In Wood for his seasonal reappearance, but some disappointing efforts towards the end of last year mean we avoid him on this occasion. Elnawin, Palace Moon and Judd Street are all worth consideration having won over this trip here before. Swiss Diva only lost by a quarter-of-a-length to Palace Moon last time and could improve on that effort. With such quality in the field it is difficult to be certain of the winner, but given that Saeed Bin Suroor seems to have returned to winning ways after a rocky start to the year we give the vote to Sirocco Breeze.
