Sutton Veny has an excellent record on the all-weather and if translating that form to turf is in with every chance in this contest, whilst Rapid Water has won at this course before but we choose to side with PALISADES PARK who won with a nice clear run inside the final furlong at Sandown on his seasonal bow. Official ratings put the Richard Hannon trained colt as the one to beat here and although five pounds higher for the victory last time out, with an in-form yard and the trainer having a decent record at Salisbury over recent years, Palisades Park is our pick. Sutton Veny has three wins from her last three starts and this means we take a strong look at this filly. Turf form has not been as comprehensive but Seb Sanders takes the ride and named after Jeremy Gask's base in Wiltshire, the filly could is an interesting prospect. Rapid Water won here last year and Andrew Balding won a third of the races he had runners in at Salibury in 2009. Rapid Water could be the main danger to our pick here and the usually consistent Solemn will no doubt run a decent race after a rare disappointing turn out when losing to our selection last time. We stick with Palisades Park to confirm the placings.
