Opera Cape really caught the eye when a course and distance third on his debut here and is fancied to go a couple better this time; Zizou and Genre both have to be respected, whilst the pick of the newcomers could John Gosden's Derby entry, Daylami Star. Opera Cape had Genre four and a half lengths behind when they were third and fifth respectively on their debuts here last month. While the latter is sure to improve, Opera Cape looked particularly green that day and if Sylvester Kirk's charge has learned the game now he must go well here. Zizou probably caught a tartar when second to Gramm at Sandown last time and is likely to find a maiden before long, whilst although Light Meter and Mulaqat didn't show a great deal of promise on their debuts, these nicely-bred types cannot be ruled out entirely. It is a trappy race for punters, but for the selection we'll stick with Opera Cape.
