The starting race of a bumper eight-strong card can go the way of CHAIRMAN PAT for trainer Tom Dascombe. The Lambourn trainer has a 25% strike-rate at the track and he has his horses in very good form at the moment as well. This newcomer is a well-related American sprint-bred colt and it would be no surprise to see him run well on debut. Other trainers to look out for at the course include David Simcock, responsible for the once-raced Keen Bidder, and Mick Channon who saddles Flashy Lover who showed plenty of promise at Newbury in what looks a hot maiden. Tucker's Law improved from first to second runs when a runner-up at the track last time and he shapes as if this trip will suit. Foletta, Imperial Warrior and Looks Like Slim have all shown potential, whilst any market moves for one of the other newcomers might strike a chord, however it is Chairman Pat who can make a winning debut.
