The consistent trio of Hobson, Milne Bay and Suhayl Star all rank highly however a chance is taken on TUDOR PRINCE. The selection has one of the more experienced jockeys in the line-up on his back today which could be important in a race where whips can be carried but not used. The horse was disappointing last time at Haydock but the ground was deplorable and he needs another chance. He won well at Kempton the time before and this mark of 69 is still some way lower than his win at Yarmouth in 2007. Royal Intruder is looking well-handicapped, as are Charles Darwin and Berbice but both need to bounce back to form. Brunelleschi has been in good form this Spring but the handicapper has now had his say; he doesn't look to be completely out of it on that front given his old form and it would be unwise to rule him out with his jockey three from four on him. Hobson looks the pick of those who have been running well in defeat recently, whilst Caustic Wit is still competitive aged 11. A tough finale for punters but we are happy to side with Tudor Prince as the nomination.
