ITSTHURSDAYALREADY impressed on debut when runner up at Redcar in a lower grade maiden last month, and is taken to score here, ahead of Wigan Lane and Deal. James Given's had some success with his two year olds this year, and Itsthursdayalready looks to have a promising career. He cost 18,000 Guineas and is closely related to winners at sprints and middle distances. Well drawn here, if he doesn't win today he's likely to go to York on Friday. Wigan Lane was another costly purchase, and should also come on for her eye-catching debut, which again was at Redcar. The Fahey yard's in fine form, and hopes are high for her with some fancy entries later in the year. Dandy Nicholls' Il Forno is also destined for better races, while Deal has the benefit of two races, in both of which she's been placed. More improvement's to be expected. Clive Cox is having a fabulous season and his runner Reddy To Star could live up to his name after a couple of recent seconds. He's entered for the Newbury Super Sprint. Support for any, especially the newcomers Almuntaser, Bazsharani and Cheshire Lady should be noted. It's a decent maiden this, and our preference is for Itsthursdayalready.
