Another big field here where preference is for ELNA BRIGHT ahead of Rioliina, Yellow Printer and Jake The Snake. Officially rated 92, the selection comes here on the back of a fair effort in a conditions contest at Nottingham. He is evidently not the best handicapped horse in the world and his rating probably flatters him somewhat, however he likes quick ground and is effective over this trip and he looks likely to have his optimum conditions today. Jake The Snake is not ideally suited by the weights, but he has a good record at this level and his jockey Amy Baker gets on well with this enigmatic character. Castano and Yellow Printer have been holding their form well but at a fairly lowly level and of more interest may be the 82-rated Rioliina who looks the best three-year-old in the race and John Portman's filly has the potential to bounce back from a recent Newbury disappointment. Peace Concluded is another to consider but in a decent claiming race it is the top-rated Elna Bright who can come home in front.
