Apetite put up his best effort to date last time and he can now take this, with Danehill Fairy and Thornber Court others to consider. The selection handled this ground well when second, beaten a quarter-of-a-length by Beaumont Girl, at Thirsk over seven furlongs last time. The trip clearly suited that day, but this drop back to six furlongs should be okay given that the cut in the ground will make it more of a test, and he can score. Danehill Fairy will be suited by the trip, and is also proven on soft ground. Anne Duffield's filly has been knocking on the door a few times in sellers this season and with those ticks against her name she can go well again. Of the others, Thornber Court may be capable of making the frame, provided he handles the ground, after what was in the contest of this race was a promising contest at Catterick last month, but we take Apetite to whet ours for the rest of the card.
