In depth

Verdict

Fine Lady, Madam Caversfield and Resistance Heroine are three against the field in a wide open affair and the vote goes to Fine Lady. The selection is a well bred sort from a yard that can ready a newcomer and she will not need to be anything special to win this on her debut. Madam Caversfield rates the main danger she has plenty of experience and a reproduction of her latest sixth behind Favourita would give her definite place claims. Resistance Heroine is another worthy of respect she showed improved form to be third behind Dubai Surprise last time and with the step up in trip sure to suit she will not be far away. Of the remainder Alpine Gold is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but in a race that answers more questions than answers for the winner we return to Fine Lady.
