        Verdict

        Militia ended last season in fine form and beat Dark Shot at Catterick last summer so should be thereabouts if fully wound-up. Nomadic Empire is on a career-high mark but ran well at York in October under similar conditions and is just as effective over this shorter trip. Bedford Flyer found only one too good off this mark at Lingfield on his reappearance and Ava Go Joe won at Beverley 10 days ago but EY UP IT’S MAGGIE is reunited with regular pilot Kieran Schofield today and his 5lb allowance could make a huge difference in a tight handicap.
