Verdict

WHIZZ KID refused to buckle despite being headed approaching the last at Aintree on his handicap debut. He has gone up a pound but is probably still on a decent mark. Knappers Hill has the class to go close under his big weight after a confidence-booster at Newton Abbot and Alto Alto beat a subsequent winner at Plumpton. Boombawn beat Hasty Parisian at Ffos Las and an earlier win at Southwell has been franked while Dibble Decker and Head Law are others still heading in the right direction but Privatory had his limitations exposed at Stratford. Fellow four-year-old Doctor Parnassus is facing a stiff task at the weights.
