Wide-open with no unexposed sorts to throw into the pot. Getting a decent position is likely to be paramount and if IMPERIAL SANDS can obtain a prominent place as last time at Pontefract, then he could well defy topweight, especially with Taylor Fisher's claim factored in. He ran really well behind a classy improver that day and he should go close despite a 3lb rise. Most do appear to be where the handicapper wants them, but the Tim Easterby pair of Garden Oasis and Golden Melody look better treated than most and should deliver a solid account. Spirit Catcher is also on a fair enough mark and was far from disgraced in a hot race at Sandown last time. He rates the main danger. Young Fire and Hortzadar afford David O'Meara a decent double chance too.
