In depth

Verdict

Jeepydoff Meel sets the standard for our opener with an official mark of 118 and the former Gordon Elliott inmate shouldn’t have any problems with the prevailing going but former point-to-point winner KINBARA (NAP) dotted up at Wexford earlier in the month and confirmed that connections were not misplaced in entering him in the valuable bumper at Aintree last season. Ballylinch was the subject of a morning gamble when making his debut for the Micky Hammond stable and is likely to try to make the running. Mr Rumbalicious debuts this afternoon for Jimmy Moffatt having won two races in modest company on the Flat for Alan King.
