        Verdict

        Billyjoh did well to overcome a tardy stalls exit when making a winning debut at Doncaster and can be marked up for the run. It would not surprise to see him back up that success, but a similar comment applies to UNEQUAL LOVE. William Haggas spoke well of the filly at the start of the season and she confirmed his opinion with a cosy Leicester success second time up. She looks a surefire improver and the 5lb sex allowance received from the Appleby colt could prove decisive. Fellow Newmarket raiders, Elusive Angel and Evenstar, need to improve but both retain potential along with Haworth Star, not disgraced on debut for Richard Fahey. Capital Guarantee debuts for new connections after moving from Ireland.
