Not the easiest of older horse maidens to fathom and the tentative vote goes to Billberry; the more exposed pair of Until When and Admiral Bond join Meinardus on the shortlist. The selection has only had two starts, and shaped very nicely on his recent reappearance when second behind Silvanus at Wolverhampton. That was his first try at this trip and with enough in his pedigree to suggest that he'll handle the ground, he could be the pick of a modest bunch. Until When and Admiral Bond set the standard on official ratings but neither is anything out of the ordinary, comments that also apply to Wave Hill and Recent Times. Paddy Jack has bits and pieces of form that gives him a chance; however he needs to put three very poor runs behind him. Meinardus has had two starts in two poor maidens and having been beaten by over ten lengths on those two starts his future may well lie in handicaps off what could only be a very lowly mark. A poor contest, with the vote going to Billberry.
Lifetime Endeavour Aragon gelding out of a moderate racemare.
