Plenty of deadwood to sift through in the finale, so supporting Ursus is only a speculative suggestion. Rainbow Bay and Johnston's Glory are others to bear in mind, while Littledodayno has a feasible chance of overcoming top weight if he gets the breaks in running. The last named has been plying his trade on the All Weather surfaces of late but, as a previous course and distance winner, the switch to turf ought not to be a problem. Johnston's Glory picks up 6lb extra for his win at Catterick last week. He is obviously in good form and should make a bold bid to land his three-timer. Rainbow Bay has a chance of reversing that Catterick form with Johnston's Glory on these terms and he is an interesting contender at the likely odds. However, Ursus is open to far more improvement than many and, having really thrived since he reverted to sprinting, the Chris Wilson-trained gelding is the selection in the lucky last .
