Boy Dancer is a speculative selection in this tricky handicap. Chin Wag and Waterloo Corner are rated as dangers, while King Of The Moors likes this course and cannot be discounted. A drop of rain would not go amiss for the last named, though. Waterloo Corner has also gone well here in the past and is only 5lb higher in the weighs than for his win on the All Weather last November. Ray Craggs' gelding usually goes well after a break and is no forlorn hope in this company. Chin Wag is versatile regarding the ground and has a one-in-five strike-rate from his races so far. Jim Goldie does well with this type of animal and, having won off 72 on the All Weather, a rating of 62 leaves him with room to manoeuvre. However, a chance is taken with Boy Dancer, who is holding his form well this season and, as his yard has been back amongst the winners of late, the John Quinn-trained gelding gets the nod as the one to be on here.
