DANEHILL DESERT looked ready to win again soon when narrowly beaten by Logi at Hamilton and can go one better despite a 2lb rise. Our Little Pony won a Beverley claimer at this time last year and has been reasonably consistent at a higher level. She made a decent reappearance at this level at Thirsk and can get into the action. Brian Ryan landed a novices' race on Tapeta at Newcastle but didn't run so well on a return visit and makes his handicap debut from the top of the weights. Mutabaahy's only victory was at Wolverhampton but he didn't enjoy soft ground at Catterick last time and can do better.
