Roddy ran three times in maidens over this trip last summer and showed potential in each of them. His stable have no problems getting one ready so he rates a big threat to all. However, conceding a stone to the race-fit three-year-old WORTH WAITING (NAP) may prove beyond him. David Lanigan's filly, who has an entry in the Irish Oaks, looked a really nice prospect when runner-up at Newmarket on her debut and wasn't beaten far in what looked a decent maiden at Nottingham on her reappearance. Helioblu Bareliere had a couple of runs in bumpers before well beaten into second over 1m2f at Wetherby and he may need further but Diplomacy should be ideally suited to this trip as he's been staying on over 7f on both starts here and has a middle-distance pedigree.
