TAE KWON DO looks the best of this motley crew, none of which have ever won a race, while New Tricks and Royal Society should also be considered. Julie Camacho's gelding keeps finding one or two too good, and steps up in trip after being narrowly beaten over a mile and a half last time out. This is the furthest he's run, but he's expected to get the trip, and seems to have some improvement to come. New Tricks ran well on debut following a change of yard, and shaped as if this sort of trip wouldn't be a problem. He's Ian Semple's only runner on the card, and first time cheekpieces may bring about some improvement. Royal Society has changed hands for 12,500 guineas since being second last time out over a mile and a half at Kempton, in what was a significant step up in trip. Going further this time shouldn't be a problem. It's a trappy contest which we wouldn't be putting the housekeeping on, but we think it can go the way of Tae Kwon Do.
