Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

A very ordinary maiden which should really be a match between Lucksin and Charles Parnell, with Primarily best of the rest and we take Charles Parnell to score. The selection is trained by Michael Dods, whose runners have been back in form of late, and this return to fast ground and 6f should suit. The gelding came back strongly with a decent seasonal reappearance at Nottingham last time and can come on for that run to score. Lucksin had to give best to First Approval in a fast ground maiden over 7f at Thirsk last time and has been unlucky to meet just the odd runner who is too good so far, having made the frame nine times from 12 attempts. However, he does clearly look vulnerable is so is opposed. Primarily would have to improve on anything he has shown so far to win this, but does look clear third best on what we have seen, but for the winner we are happy to side with Charles Parnell.
