Verdict

A small field here with a trappy look to it but it should pay to stick with Isidore Bonheur to follow up his recent course win, with Toshi and Instructor for the frame. The selection was successful here over a mile last time out and in what was a truly run contest he was doing all his best work at the end, suggestign that this step up in trip should very much suit. True enough Desert Realm whom he beat that day did nothing for the form at Royal Ascot on Wednesday, but we are prepared to dismss that here. Toshi is stepped back up to 10 furlongs after proving he gets the trip at Doncaster last year. He ran well over a mile at Hamilton last time in handicap company and can be competitive once again off this mark. Instructor is another who is proven over the trip and on the ground and is 4lb higher than when scoring at Ayr last August, but just keeps finding one or two too good from this mark and both Go Tech and I'm Spartacus need the handicapper to relent before they win again, so we'll take Isidore Bonheur to come home in front.
