El Ameen looks sure to be popular here but we will field against the Mark Johnston inmate with TOTALITARIAN. Simon Callaghan's string are in fine form and he makes a rare raid on this circuit with the Pivotal gelding, who was doing all of his best work at the finish at Kempton earlier in the month. With natural improvement to come and the likelihood that he will act on the ground, we'll give him the nod. El Ameen has had three starts in maidens and perhaps Mark Johnston feels that his mark of 75 is plenty high enough, given that he keeps him to another maiden. His form looks very solid, but he is surely also vulnerable to an improver. Justonefortheroad is dropped back in trip by Richard Fahey and that is not certain to suit. Even so, in such a weak affair his chance of taking home some money is respected given a reasonably solid profile. Safari Song was a shade disappointing last time and the drop in trip should see him to better effect, while newcomer Mr Rainbow may well know his job first time and is related to winners at this age over similar trips, so he is one to note in the market. Totalitarian is the suggestion here.
