Amanda Carter can follow up in the finale, with Bivouac, Ingleby Hill and The Mighty Ogmore others worth noting. Plenty can in fact be ruled out here, and we lean towards the only one with recent wining form in the shape of Amanda Carter. Richard Fahey's charge was stepped up in trip for her handicap debut at Carlisle eight days ago, and displayed abundant stamina in coming from off the pace to open her account. Also entered up at Sandown this coming Friday, she can pay to follow before the handicapper turns the screw. Bivouac now qualifies for handicaps after three educational outings and hails from a shrewd yard, while Ingleby Hill, who looked one to follow when a close second at Southwell on his return, has since failed here over a longer trip. The Mighty Ogmore meanwhile will do well to turn the tables on the selection based on Carlisle running, and Amanda Carter, a half-sister to plenty of winners, is very much the one to beat.
