    Verdict

POSTMAN sets a good standard here and gets our vote, but if anything can beat him it could be Tarzan or Justonefortheroad. Bryan Smart's gelding is aiming for a hat-trick, but the one concern maybe whether he'll like quick ground, with the previous wins coming on the Fibresand and when there was some cut in the ground at Nottingham. It's a slight step up in trip, but the manner of those wins last month suggest that won't be a problem. He's in the rudest of health, has a good attitude and seems the one to be on. Tarzan may be the main danger, and the step up in trip looks to be a positive factor in his favour, after being just beaten here a couple of weeks ago. Justonefortheroad is the least exposed, and had a good seasonal debut when placed at Haydock last month. Again, this slightly longer distance should suit on his handicap debut. Our preference though is for the treble seeking Postman to deliver.
