A massive field of 19 here, and this race could be seen as something of a pin-sticker's, but we'll support STONECRABSTOMORROW, in preference to Makshoof and Blue Tomato. Towards the top end of the weights, but well drawn in stall 16, Richard Fahey's charge showed a good attitude to win a similar race at Hamilton a week ago, when Makshoof was back in third. Two pounds higher then, they're off level weights today, and he's in the rudest of form. Three wins and five placings from eight runs this year see him set a decent standard. Makshoof's four career wins have all come over this trip, but at Haydock. Blue Tomato is the only other one with some decent recent form, albeit the best came on the all-weather. He couldn't have picked a better draw. Polish World is having his first run on turf for two years, but even first time blinkers may not help bring about the improvement probably needed to land this. Some of these appear to be making up the numbers, and our pick is Stonecrabstomorrow.
