A poor contest that won't take a lot of winning and Mystic Art is the suggestion to get the better of Augustus John and Bocciani. The Charlie Egerton-trained selection becomes more interesting now blinkered for the first time, after a couple of decent efforts in context over this trip at both Nottingham and Lingfield. He handles both cut and fast ground, so is quite versatile, and is open to improvement, so we'll side with him. Augustus John is another that has run some good races in defeat, not least when runner-up in a better race than this over 12f at Chester last year. He had a nice pipe opener at Doncaster last month and should be much straighter now. Bocciani returns to this trip after successive bridesmaids berths over a-mile-and-a-half. This looks tougher for him back in a handicap and he is taken on. Snowy Indian represents Sir Michael Stoute and is unexposed in making only her second handicap appearance and she could emerge as a serious threat but for today we'll stick with Mystic Art.
