Trip The Light can land his second race over course and distance this afternoon by getting the better of Banquet and Leitmotif amongst others. This may not take too much winning and Richard Fahey's runner is the only one in the field that could be described as being upwardly mobile. Headgear has made all the difference to him as he took a maiden handicap over course and distance when first wearing a visor in May and doubled his tally at Beverley last time. His mark has only been subject to incremental change and he can win his third race in just four starts. Don Cantillon's runners merit consideration, particularly if the market vibes are positive, whilst Leitmotif may be revitalised by the application of blinkers and John Dunlop's strike rate at the track ensures that his chance is respected. Plenty thought Banquet was a tasty proposition when he was stepped up to two miles at Beverley but the beaten favourite could only muster the one pace. His shrewd yard should ensure that losses are only leant but Trip The Light has been found a fantastic opportunity here.
