Two thirds of these have won over course and or distance in what's a decent looking contest, and our preference is for Handsome Falcon, ahead of Borasco and Passion Fruit. Richard Fahey's colt was a decent second last time out at Beverley, while his success at this level came at Newcastle. He's well in at the weights, with Frederik Tylicki claiming a useful 7 pounds. Passion Fruit's already got the measure of Game Lad last month, and a slight change in weights doesn't suggest there'll be sufficient improvement to reverse those placings. It's almost a year to the day since she won, but on her day she's more than capable. Borasco won her last race, a similar contest at Newcastle, but may be helped if there's been some rain. It looks pretty open overall, but we'll side with Handsome Falcon
