Sloop Johnb makes most appeal here, ahead of Fivefootnumberone and Becausewecan. Richard Fahey's colt made all to justfify short price favouritism at Carlisle last time out, and now makes his handicap debut at a higher level. He looks to be the improving sort. Becausewecan, Mark Johnston's only runner on the card, makes his handicap debut too, and has shown some promise in his limited outings. Fivefootnumberone's raced in better company, although his only win came in a maiden at this level. A number of these are by Bahamian Bounty, and wouldn't it be nice if the selection, Sloop Johnb came home first .
