HENDERSON PARK is a confident choice to land this maiden on the basis of what those around him at Ayr have gone onto achieve; Al Mugtareb and Striker Torres are nominated to fill the placings. George Foster's juvenile went down by a head to Zafisio at Ayr last time with that juvenile achieving listed success at Goodwood since and is now stated to be on course for the Gran Criterium at San Siro. The third has only recently been touched off in a Redcar maiden and it is form that has a solid look. Al Mugtareb steps up to seven furlongs for the first time and while that will need to bring about improvement for him to score, he has been getting outpaced and this additional furlong should suit. Striker Torres was noted staying on to take third spot at Pontefract last time behind two smart sorts. He is bred to come into his own over trips in and around a mile and Bryan Smart has been enjoying a good run with his juveniles this past week. Sydney Cove is probably best watched unless the market states otherwise while Mister Bombastic, who finished in behind Henderson Park at Ayr is certainly worth monitoring with him eligible for handicaps after this. Henderson Park is given the vote to land division two of this maiden.
