In depth

Verdict

A poor bumper in which the market should be watched carefully as it would be no surprise to see Jessica Harrington's newcomer Rock On The Moor, a half-sister to Get Me Out Of Here, make a successful debut. Don Vincenzo showed a bit of promise early last year and Germany John led for a long way at Fairyhouse and is certain to have benefited from the experience. VIRTUOSO ROUGE made a promising bumper debut behind subsequent easy hurdles winner Noble Emperor at Navan in March then ran so poorly here a month later that something must have been amiss. Hopefully he'll be over whatever ailed him and this should prove well within his capabilities.
