Verdict

The last three favourites have won this so the market should be watched for clues. All Honours has been running poorly but his only victory over hurdles came from a higher mark than this. Vasco Des Bieffes showed his first sign of ability when stepped up to 2m7f at Navan and is on a low enough mark to make his presence felt but Zigger Zagger has been tailed off in his last two starts after landing a Fairyhouse bumper. Stop Road Lad is comfortably the form pick here as he's rarely beaten far in similar class but he's now had 17 starts over hurdles without winning. He looks certain to get involved but might find VISION DU COEUR too good. Fran Flood's charge would be a good bet to win this on his close second to Sang Tiger at Sligo and though not quite reaching those heights subsequently he's on a fair mark and Robbie Power can steer him home.
