Verdict

Dromnea beat a huge field of maiden hurdlers here in February but was always more likely to make a chaser. Master Oscar beat an even bigger field on the track in April though he looks more of a soft-ground performer but winning point-to-pointer On The Shannon showed little over timber and was beaten a long way on his chasing debut. Wounded Warrior has only had six starts yet has already won a point-to-point, a bumper and a maiden hurdle. He has a superb pedigree for jumping and should make a very smart chaser. SHANAHAN'S TURN is highly regarded and was sent into Grade 1 company after landing a maiden hurdle at Leopardstown in December. He's another bred to be a chaser and Johnny Burke's claim can help him make a successful debut over the bigger obstacles.
