Empress Eugenie, Moonshaft, and Blaze of Colour look the three against the field here with the latter just getting our vote. Sir Michael Stoute's filly is superbly bred by Rainbow Quest out of a Green Desert mare and showed enough on her debut at Doncaster last autumn to suggest she can take a race of this nature. Empress Eugenie made a pleasing debut at Windsor recently when fourth to Classical Dancer, she looks certain to improve and must figure in the finish. Best of the rest should be Moonshaft who has hinted at ability in decent maidens. However, with not too much form to go on Michael Stoute's superb track record sways us towards Blaze Of Colour.
